A is for her. D is for me.

Hi, I’m Diae, the D. I built this little arcade for my favourite person to play with: A, my girlfriend. The A is hers, the D is mine, and the ampersand in between is every evening we’ve spent side by side with a controller each, arguing about who really won.

A&D Arcade is our home for the games we love, the ones we play together and the ones we play solo while the other one watches and gives terrible advice. Our own originals live here, Pong, Kart, Puck and Chefs, made so two people can share one keyboard or play from opposite ends of the city with a four-letter room code. Next to them sits a shelf of browser classics we keep coming back to.

It’s dressed like the computers we grew up loving: the BIOS beep, the glow of an old monitor, big cardboard boxes you could actually hold. Take your time, open a folder, pick up a box. Play alone, or bring your own player two. Want the short version? Type whoami in the terminal.

Made with love by Diae, for A.
